Gasometer Pforzheim

Viennese artist Yadegar Asisi is known for his massive 360° panoramas, exhibited in former gasometers due to their vast size. Pforzheim’s 1912 gasometer, converted in 2014, has hosted five shows, including a stunning depiction of Constantine’s 312 arrival in Rome, blending art with industrial history.

Pforzheim Jewelry Museum

Pforzheim, known for its jewellery and watch-making, showcases local craftsmanship, including works by Victor Mayer, who created jewellery for Fabergé. The museum features 2,000 exhibits spanning five millennia, with highlights from ancient cultures and dazzling Art Nouveau and Art Deco pieces by designers like René Lalique and Lucien Gaillard.

Pforzheim Wildlife Park

Southeast of Pforzheim, Wildpark Pforzheim houses almost 500 mammals, fish, and reptiles across 16 hectares. Most species, like deer, lynxes, and Eurasian otters, are native to Central Europe. The park also features a petting zoo, children's farm, rope course, and playgrounds, with scheduled feedings offering close encounters.
